Our EXCEL class Christmas parties are fast approaching and we wanted to share how the class parties work at EXCEL!
EXCEL class Christmas parties will be held on Friday, December 13th from 1:20-2:00. The students will have all classes on an abbreviated schedule before party time. At 1:20 students will return to their homeroom classes and the party fun will begin. Teachers, students, staff, and families look forward to party days! One of the great things about EXCEL is the opportunity to connect with friends, build relationships, and have fun together! Class parties give the students a time to connect in a fun way with food, activities, and games!
We have sent out Signup Genius links for each grade level to ask for party foods, crafts, and activities at each grade level. The party is not a required family involvement time but we know that many of our parents like to join in the fun. We try to have a snack, an activity (craft etc), and a game for each grade level (thus the signup sheets). Parents sign up to bring supplies including food, drinks, plates, craft supplies, and game ideas. This allows the EXCEL teacher to join in the fun without having to plan the party activities and offers the students/families the opportunity to have party input!
As always, if you have any questions about Class parties please let us know! We look toward the EXCEL class parties with much excitement and we know that students do as well.
We appreciate each of you and are thankful that you partner with us as you educate at home but NOT alone!
