As some of you may know, Mark Shaeffer, our Assistant to the Academic Dean, has been diagnosed with cancer of the esophagus. His diagnosis has been revised to Stage 2, which is a praise! He is presently in Houston, Texas at MD Anderson Hospital undergoing treatment. There are numerous costs associated with his treatment: from paying for parking at the hospital, to food & travel expenses. All of the DC campus is going to participate in a Jeans Day on Wednesday, March 25th, to bless the Shaeffer family and help with some of these expenses. If you would like to contribute to the Shaeffer family, donations can be dropped off at the homeschool office.
Students may wear jeans and a favorite shirt. Please be sure jeans are in good repair & that shirts are appropriate DC attire.
Please continue to keep the Shaeffer family in your prayers.
