David Shockey, one of our very own homeschool students, will be in this wonderful performance! The Shockey family has extended an invitation for all of our families to come and enjoy the performance.
In addition, there is an opportunity for a few students who are interested in learning the behind the scenes technology, to take part in this production. Here are the details if your student is interested:
TECH OPPORTUNITY WITH SOUND OF MUSIC
Parents and Students,
We have a great opportunity for students who are looking to be involved on the technical production side of live theater! For our upcoming show, Getting to Know…the Sound of Music, we will need some additional assistance. This will be a great opportunity to work with and learn from our Technical Director, Tim Guth.
For load in and load out, we will need 8 high school students or parent volunteers to help bring the lighting and sound into Memorial Auditorium on tech move in day (date TBD).
We also need a crew of 6 to help with sound and lighting during the full run of the show. You will need to be available for all 6 shows, as well as all rehearsals during tech week. Tim will be teaching you along the way on what needs to be done and his motto is “safety is always first.”
If you are interested or have any question, please contact our Artistic Director, Donna Roth, at 513-519-0642 or email@example.com. This is a great opportunity for anyone needing service hours.
Questions regarding this production should be directed to the email provided above as this is not a Dayton Christian Homeschool presentation.
