Reminder: Lego Class Student Projects
This EXCEL (4/8) and next (4/22) Lego students should be prepared to build and present according to the below requirements. ALL: be sure to label your creations in a box that may be set on a cart as you enter EXCEL!!
Learn to Learn (1st and 2nd graders) – build a Lego model at home; write down 3 things to share about the topic/creation (not just what it is and how long it took you to make, but things like why you chose that particular topic, more details about it, etc.) i.e. build a flower and describe the parts and structure of a flower to us.
WeDo (3rd and 4th graders) – be ready to build something with your partner that contains a motor and a sensor that will be powered by a program that you create! (You have the option of using personal legos at home if you choose, but it is not necessary. Class time and the kits in class are perfectly fine options as well, but obviously the power functions will come from the kits only.)
Faith Builders (5th and 6th graders) – choose a Bible story or passage and demonstrate it in Legos
