Wednesday, November 16
Tomorrow, November 16th, the Elementary will be participating in a Mission Jeans Day. For $1.00, or more if desired, students may wear jeans and a favorite shirt. Please be sure that jeans are in good repair, and that shirts are appropriate DC attire (no questionable wording or pictures, please).
Students must pay to participate. Normal uniform dress is required if not participating. The money collected will be donated to Samaritan’s Purse.
Please adhere to the following dress code guidelines when enjoying a Jeans Day:
** The term “Jeans” refers to a traditional pair of blue jeans. This is what may be worn on a Jeans Day. Jean material in different colors, with different designs / patterns, or made to look like cargo pants may not be worn. Also, jean jeggings are not permitted to be worn on Jeans Days. Jeans with rips / holes may not be worn.
** Jean shorts must adhere to the same length and style guidelines listed in the Parent/Student Handbook.
** Jeans Days are not Dress Down Days in the Elementary. No athletic pants or athletic shorts may be worn.
